Dr. Mahtab Hossain Majed

Dr. Muhammad Yunus, the Nobel laureate economist, was named head of the interim government after the fall of Sheikh Hasina’s 15-year rule. Despite there being no caretaker system in the constitution, this move was deemed necessary to hold new elections. Dr. Yunus’s name was proposed by the coordinators of the students.
